College Counseling
USA: For students
Our student-centered approach to college admissions requires that each student takes charge of this process. Our job is to guide, counsel, suggest and inform. But the student is ultimately responsible for all key decisions required to drive this process forward.

In particular, students are responsible for determining the standardized tests required by the colleges they intend to apply to (SAT Reasoning Test, SAT Subject Tests and TOEFL iBT), signing up for the appropriate tests, and checking and meeting application deadlines.

The following downloads include the bragsheet (both in word and in pdf format), which is the student-produced document providing information essential to the College Counselor's preparation of the EABJM School Report; the protocol, which outlines the process of choosing teachers and obtaining the two required Teacher Evaluations; the Counseling Guidelines, a memento of things students must do; and the Common Application which can also be downloaded at Commonapp, a site that also has useful links to each college's specific additional application requirement such as additional college-specific essays.
