Who are we?
Who are we?A working group which is part of the APE A motivated team of volunteer parents, ideally including representatives from Dupleix, Suffren, and Theatre, who unite regularly to discuss and plan 2 – 3 issues per year. An editorial team composed of 5 – 7 members contributing editorial, artistic, graphic, and layout talents. Tasks include approving articles, designating deadlines, verifying coherence of illustrations, photos and articles, and ensuring a proper printout and distribution of the magazine. Any parent willing to submit and write a specific article of interest for any of the issues. From the first papers produced in the mid-eighties, we are eager to progress, and have evolved from 4 bicolored pages to 16 pages in full color on quality paper. Our objective:To share news and views with parents and students at EABJM to help inform them on various aspects within our multi-cultural environment. We strive to attain this goal by combining within each issue a selection of interviews, in-depth articles and smaller features to appeal to as wide a range of our readership as possible. We hope there is something of interest to everyone in the entire school community. Our wish:Please feel free to contribute any ideas or suggestions you might have since Accent is a paper by the parents for the parents!
